Week 5: The Slinger, DWV and Pink

The "Slinger" truck slinging gravel.  We all stood in amazement as the operator  delicately placed gravel wherever we asked him to,  with the greatest of ease and precision.
Running DWV (drain, waste and vent)  lines.  We do it all!
The "Slinger" again.
Footing drains (the one wrapped in fabric) and downspout tight-lines.
Plumbing drains and electrical conduit ready for bedding.
Cecillio getting out of the way.
The drain and vent lines in place.  Before inspection we plugged the system at a "clean out" just
outside the building's perimeter and then temporarily glued in 10ft. of ABS pipe (the vertical pipe in
upper middle of the photo) and filled the whole system from the top of that pipe,  providing "ten feet
of head" pressure to the system.  We passed inspections first time around.  Not bad for a couple
of cowboys, as Kaleb and I sometime refer to ourselves.
Compacting the 5/8 inch minus gravel ( 5/8" crushed rock with fines in it) with a jumping jack and a plate compactor.

View from the kitchen toward the fireplace.

Floor insulation, nearly completed.
