Week 1: Demolition and salvaging the old house

Demolition, or more accurately, deconstruction finally begins.  After stripping the roofing material and the cladding, I decided to keep the old ship-lap sheathing for use in the new house.

Cecillio and his brother Fidel carefully removed the fir boards and de-nailed them for later use.
